Winter trekking hot tent (Part2/3)

This is a trip i took in the back country of northern Ontario temperature was bitter cold in the range of - 15 to -24 Celsius. I trek a distance of 3.5 km in one way half lake travel other half forest trail. Loaded my pulk with all my gear and also brought ice fishing rods to try and catch the elusive brook trout. The journey lats 2 days and a fierce storm on the second day making trekking difficult going back.

First time hot tenting how hot does stove jack get because they sewn in stove jack on corners and all material up to center ring is that a bad idea like your channel

Really enjoyed this series. I have made a kifaru type shelter from poly tarps and a stove from a 5 gallon metal bucket and am very much looking forward to winter hot tenting. I have done a lot of winter hot tenting in the past but that was in a big canvas wall tent and various other large shelters with a barrel stove. Really looking forward to getting out on a much smaller scale that is handled much easier by one person such as your setup here. Looked like it worked well for you.

im pretty sure that the package of sweet and sour. that mt on the front of that package is the mountain I live on and make videos on. it looks like mt hood on that package and the lake the photo is taken from is the lake I raft in on my videos. wild.
