Hey Sintax77, Great video as always but i was wandering has your winter set up changed at all over the last 3 years as your three season, setup has? Thanks,
PS just a trail recommendation the next time your in NY. Check out Indian Head . Its in the High peaks of the Adirondacks. One of the best trails and vistas in the park! -
That is a hilariously heavy tent for a 3 season. Time to get a hiking pole tent?

Another great review, Do not like the cooking pots if they are regular food tins, Why the function of there use is complete and they will deteriorate, from them and one problem Lock jaw. Unlikely to cut yourself but is it worth the risk. Cheers

The problem with Pressure in your canister stove has a lot to do with the fact it has no Pre-warming tube. Cheap $10 stoves don't have them. You usually find them at the $100 mark and up, such as the SnowPeak Geosheild stove at $99. Or, the Optimus Vega at $94. Or, for a little more the Primus Eta Spider Stove which also comes with a 1 liter pot with a heat-exchanger bottom. It is a nice compact set I'd recommend. The base is also a full enclosure shield for your flame which I like a lot. IN cold you need to keep as much heat at the pot base and not floating away on the cold breeze. Of course if you want a cook system I HIGHLY recommend the Trangia cook set. You can buy burners for , butane canisters and white-gas and Kerosene. Both burners come with a Pre-heating tube. This is the only cook set I know you can take around the world and still be able to use it, because it is the ONLY one that uses every type of fuel. And with the Pre-heating tube you can go to Everest with it... or Vermount.

I wear 2 pairs of socks everyday all year. Nothing crazy fancy, just plain cotton ones and decent wool ones on top. Never get sweaty, never get cold. Never get blisters. I wouldn't sit on the couch with 1 pair only

Carrying 2x Hiking poles is great for Tarp Supports.
-
All Good but for how many days?
-
Fahrenheit and pound suck so hard! A liter water weights exactly 1 fucking kilogram and freezing temperature is 0. Now tell me, this wouldn't be logical! Wtf USA.
-
If your gas stops the pressure, we always use a second wine to heat the first can and it goes crazy after that for a couple of seconds.

OHMYGOD WHAT IS WITH ALL THIS EMS CRAP WHERE DO YOU GET ALL OF IT O_O

Portable Heated Blanket
Invented for all outdoor pursuits, fishing, birdwatching, stargazing, camping, hunting etc, and also a lifesaver in emergency situations.
Up to 60 degrees Celsius of portable heat, just unroll the blanket, light your gas stove and place the unique heat exchanger unit on your stove, within 10 minutes your blanket will be up to temperature, heating your whole body even in the harshest conditions.
Formerly known as 'The Hot One', our portable heated blanket has been totally re-designed incorporating a TEG (thermo-electric-generator) which eliminates the need for a battery power source. The generator is so efficient it not only powers the unique circulation pump incorporated within our blanket it will also charge smart phones, GPS units, iPods and many other lithium ion battery operated devices, all via a USB connection. Alternatively, the TEG provides a power source to run speakers, lights, fans, or other low-power USB appliances making our product a truly life saving essential item in emergency situations. The solid-state voltage regulator provides up to 5W of pure power to charge your high-tech devices.
Generator Output: 5W maximum, 1 Amp max at 5 V (DC) USB 2.0 port
How long will my blanket stay hot?
As long as you have a direct heat source under the heat exchanger, i.e your gas stove, the blanket will stay hot. Portable gas stove cylinders can last over 30 hours with our product due to the small amount of heat input required, that equates to approximately £0.16 pence per hour running costs.

hey, thought popped into my head!! Scary huh!?! If you are using the Kelty tent, why not take that emergency space blanket and lay it over the mesh, what it will cover, before you put the rain cover on the tent? Reflects what heat is inside and it's there any way so....make use of it....might make a difference? Good test video?
-
tell me please about the solar panels? Make and model? Great video by the way. I live in NH and the Whites are our second home....I'll keep an eye peeled for ya! Be cool to meet ONE face off this glowing box!
