http://executiveessentialsreview.com/fine-pen-gifts What is in a pen? Well to many it's not much but a simple writing device that we use. A tool, but to many people especially people that write for a living, are Executive's in smaller and major companies the pen is definitely mighter then the sword. I mean who would want to sign Multi-Billion contracts, Graduation Papers, Marriage License with some cheap BIC pen. There's something about a Fine Pen that makes things special. It makes a document official, gives it personality. Fine Rollerball Pens are something to had by all. They come in a price and sizes and have been a collector's item for some for many ages. I would say in this day in age the Pen is dying out like the Watch since electronic signatures are around now, we have digital watches on our computer screens. But the tradition remains the same. The quality and purpose of these kinds of Pen still remain. The art of penman ship might change but there will always be a basic need for a fine pen in our world. One of the greatest things about Rollerball Pens is that you smooth flow of ink and the gripping of a great pen finish is something that can't be duplicated. No electronic signature can do anything like it. Also as a gift this couldn't be better. You can have you initials monogrammed into it so it makes it official and can be passed on to future generations of pen users. Plus the good thing is that if you are a collector it's not hard to start a collection usually Fine Pens start in the 50-60 Dollar range and move up into the thousands, but this is not a hobby for the elite only the elite minded!

Yes, be a human being in society and help the economy by buying more expensive products and yes, be a human being with good taste by buying more classy products.
-
@LLAW019 Also, all in all, weren't you just assuming that the people who are into these hobbies will or have never ALSO donate any amount of money to the society?
-
@Jcolinsol I was just using that as a analogy. To allow a superabundance of material wealth (people with expensive hobbies) for distribution based on need (charities/poors). Ok forget that but part of being human is the need for materialistic rewards, don't tell me you never wanted anything, and if you ever did want something, have you donated that money instead of getting what you want? and who has decided that charitable acts are good taste in nature?
-
@LLAW019 Redistribution of wealth is not what I am advocating. Neither is redistribution of wealth, even an inaccurate, definition of communism. What I am saying is twofold: 1) Be a human being 2) Be a human being with good taste
-
@Jcolinsol Ok, if any extra money anyone has would be reinvest in the community / charities i.e. to help the poor. Isn't that sort of what communism is about? To share the rich's wealth so that everyone is equally rich or more likely, poor.
-
@LLAW019 You don't get it. I'm not talking about whether it is profitable, I'm talking about morality. If you have that kind of money, and choose to spend it on pointlessly expensive vanity products like pens and watches, rather than spending on charities, or at least reinvesting that money ethically, then you seriously need to reevaluate your moral values(or lack thereof).
-
@Jcolinsol Why? What do you collect that has good value system? At least those items will eventually gain or at least retain it's original value. Don't know much about watches but some vintage pens that used to sold for $5 now cost over $500. Also valuing a good pen is not just for appeals, a pen goes hand to hand with good penmanship and calligraphy which is considered as a valuable asset to many including me.
-
@thepackripper89 If you have enough money to collect watches or pens, you need to revaluate your value system.
-
Woah... I have one of these! How random...
