GERMANS SEEM TO NOT LIKE KIDS

We are going to Zurich in May. You are making me worried now. We got a great airfare 1,300 for 3 people for a 3 night in Iceland and 4 Nights in Zurich.

Yeaaaaaah

I was in Geneve about 4 months ago. The prices are ridiculous. I was trying to eat at McDonald's to save money. But as you said even McDonald's is expensive. I went to a regular burger place and a burger and fries was 20 francs.
I tried to look at a not hardcore adult site on the internet from the hotel and the website was blocked. It was nice to walk around and stuff, but the prices are just ridiculous. And I was surprised at how few people could speak English. For some reason I was thinking most people could speak English there, but I was wrong. But I was only in Geneve. -
I'm Swiss and broke as f...

There is not a bad nightlife but you have to know where to go. The only problem for tourists the nightlife is also expensive.
-
Holy fuck I hate watching you without the beard
-
I take it Switzerland doesn't use the euro?
-
We watched this video for a German III/IV class -- how many times can you mention $$$ in a video? We got it already! Danke schön!

People always say that Switzerland is the most peaceful country in the world but it's only the most protected. The world leaders keep their money there so obviously they are exempt from wars. Don't bomb the money but it's ok to bomb humans...pfffft!

You are exactly right! Good video

The Swiss social mentality reminds me of Germany back in the 1930's and '40's. If you dare mention how multi-cultural their country is, you'll automatically get an overly defensive lecture of how they are NOT to be called or lumped together in any way, shape, or form with Italian, German, etc. etc. because they are Swiss and Swiss are completely different. This whole, arrogant attitude of "we are the pure-blooded Swiss not to be confused with the third class impure cultures surrounding and trying to taint us" is even evident in a lot of the comments below. They even created a hybrid language of German-Swiss, Italian-Swiss, etc. to further themselves from anyone possibly confusing them with the cultures around them. It's sad and ridiculous.

u zuerich. -
Just came back from Switzerland. My wife and I were staying in Lucerne and from there we traveled to several cities and villages. Your review was spot on. Both the positive and negative. And yes, we also noticed the lackluster service, that was a bit disappointing. Still a beautiful country, we had a fantastic time. Not in a huge rush to get back though, there are other places in the world where we can have a wonderful time and not get gouged for prices.

why they don't like children it wired n they crazy work

Not much nightlife? Zurich has the highest density of clubs and discos in Europe...so that point surely isn't valid...but entries are expensive...that true!
-
Switzerland is nice, too bad the night life's not that good..
-
Which is more expensive: Norway or Switzerland ?

Please stop saying we have french, german and italian culture. We are swiss. We have swiss culture. We're not a mix out of the countries around us. A lot of german people come to zurich and get misunderstood because they think just because they can speak german here the culture is the same and end up doing offensive things.
(Sorry, that just really annoys me when people say that.. of course we have the same origin and therefore a lot of cultural stuff in common, but when you say it like you did it sounds as they the germany and france of today make us)
