TRIP REPORT | Primera Air PF239 | Helsinki - Las Palmas | Boeing 737-700

New tripreport! This time a holiday charter flight on board a Danish leisure company, Primera Air, from Helsinki to the Canary Islands! The Canary Islands are an archipelago located on the Atlantic Ocean, just off the southern coast of Morocco. The distance between the Canaries and the world's second-largest continent is just about 100 kilometers and on a clear day you can even see the Atlantic coast of Morocco while approaching the islands. Of all the seven islands Gran Canaria is the third largest one, after Tenerife and Fuerteventura... Those three are also the most visited ones of them all. Due to long warm summers and moderately warm winters the Canaries are a major tourist destination for many sunseekers. The islands receive as much as 12 million tourists per year, of which practically everyone arrive on board holiday charter flights or regular scheduled flights. The Canaries' largest airport is Gran Canaria airport which is also the 5th largest airport in Spain. My flight from Helsinki to Gran Canaria took about 6 hours and 45 minutes which is actually pretty long sector for a narrow-body B737. Nearly seven hours of sitting on a cramped holiday charter isn't necessarily the most enjoyable of an experience but it was still quite an interesting flight to make a tripreport of. I hope you like this video and find it interesting whether you're heading to the Canaries yourself or not! :) Since my last upload my channel has reached 1,500+ subscribers!
