The Serbian Exodus Through Albania I THE GREAT WAR - Week 71
Mountain | reviews | videos | photos
Serbia's last stand is over and the remaining forces and civilians have to leave their home country across the inhabitable trails of the Albanian Alps. So, a whole nation is on the run while their enemies celebrate their successful military operation. The German Army is gladly relocating the much needed troops to other fronts while they leave the Austrians and Bulgarians to deal with the new situation on the Balkans. » HOW CAN I SUPPORT YOUR CHANNEL? This guy is good. Really correct exept the southern albania being greek bullshit. In fakt northern greece is ethnically albanian but the greeks wiped us out like the serbs and slavs did in northern albania...kosovo presheva the higlands and macedonia. I pray to God my country reunites. We ve suffered so much during this 100 years. But till my last blood i sware we will unite Albania not bacause we wana harm others but because IT"s our RIGHT BY GOD ALMIGHTY. We ve suffered to much to forget...turks slavs and greeks stealing our land killing our kinn and claming what is rightfully ours. Ethnic Albania for life

Albania the worst country of Europe
-
Please open the archives about half Serbia was populated by Albanians, from Jagodina to Nis, Novi Pazar, Vranje - all have been Albanian cities. Albanians are the greatest race in Balkans, lived from nearly Belgrade to Athina.
-
this simple documentary has many problems. First Serbs are not in their own land as it is called here. they came from Russia and are also known as Slavic. Serbs had conquered half of Albania with Russian help. Because slavs even today want acces in mediterranean sea. secondly the southern part of Albania is not Greek. Exist today about 5000 greek in Albania, imagine at the time of great war.Epirioius is not Greek as u mentioned ( you can read old greek historians or those of today to affirm such a thing) But it is the policy of Greece or as otherwise called "Megaloidea". half of Greece' is Albanian-populated , but you can not find this in greek offical documents because they propagandize so called "clean greek" You have not mention here the Greek genocide in chameri (Southern Epirus) and also the Greek minority genocide when Greek minority uprising declared autonomy. thirdly serbs passed without damaging in Albania because Essad Pasha at the time was their spy and he was killed by Albanian nationalists.

Albania is like alcohol prohibition during elections. Nobody respect it.

Basically, the turks destroyed Albania, not in battle, because Georgivs Skanderbeg kept defeating them, but after he died they forced the Christian people to convert to islam or pay heavy taxes.
Shame, such a great line of Illyrians destroyed by turks. -

The Germans should have pushed the allies out of the Balkans in 1915 when they had the chance. Pursue the Serbs overrun all of Albania and take Salonika. Eliminate the front - then not only will their forces be free to redeploy but Austrians and Bulgarians as well. Romania intervention against Germany would be off the table. They could eventually drag Greece into the war on the German side.

William I of Albania, made a little mistake there by not sending albanian troops to aid the allies - in the name of neutrality - which was understandably. But on the other hand that only turned to be even worse, since Albania's neutrality was Not respected either way, and the mess followed!
