Enjoyed the video, thanks for all the information. For those of you looking for the origin or the deluge stories, Noah and all that, we should remember that humans weren't really around 5.3 million years ago and even if we were how would these stories have been passed through the ages? it's hard to get accurate facts from 2000 years ago even though we could write back then. from wikipedia "The earliest documented representative of the genus Homo is Homo habilis, which evolved around 2.8 million years ago,[4] and is arguably the earliest species for which there is positive evidence of the use of stone tools. The brains of these early hominins were about the same size as that of a chimpanzee, although it has been suggested that this was the time in which the human SRGAP2 gene doubled, producing a more rapid wiring of the frontal cortex. During the next million years a process of rapid encephalization occurred, and with the arrival of Homo erectus and Homo ergaster in the fossil record, cranial capacity had doubled to 850 cm3.[5] (Such an increase in human brain size is equivalent to each generation having 125,000 more neurons than their parents.) It is believed that Homo erectus and Homo ergaster were the first to use fire and complex tools, and were the first of the hominin line to leave Africa, spreading throughout Africa, Asia, and Europe between 1.3 to 1.8 million years ago."

The English channel filled in first by the Melting Glacial Water. By the records of Noah it seems there was prior knowledge to the flooding of the Garden of Eden becoming the Mediterranean Sea which means that human activity may have channelled away at the Gibraltar Land bridge or happened as you say, known as the Gibraltar Breach. There was also a breach of the Black Sea later. This occurred over the span of about 1000 years, known as the 'time of Noah'.

have trouble imagining how the salt deposits could be over 2000m? if you had even a massive amount of water, once evaporated wouldn't there be only a small ammount of salt? as in a skiff? I could see 20m. anyone know how this is possible?
-
really, how the Black Sea evaporates
-
So how does the Black Sea not evaporate?
-
How could fucking Italy claim that Meditaranean Sea is OURS SEA? There are more than 10 countries having access to it.
Shame on Italians! -
Big eye opener, now I get it... I can picture the great flood of the bible and all the historian great floods, tales of lost cities due to the awesome raw power of advancing walls of water, breath-taking; I can picture it all, as if I was there to see it when it happened...

Mediterranean sea and Atlantic Ocean has been mentioned in the holy Qur'an. Subhanallah!
