This is just a short taste of what is to come with the full edit. But getting to the main point, my friends and I want out to Afton Alps, MN to do some biking, and we decided that we liked the downhill section the best. So I decided to run a shuttle for it so we could bike it a few times, and here's the results! Enjoy.

There isn't much for true downhill in the midwest, unless you go up to some of the bigger ski areas up north, like Duluth. Anything you ride down you have to bike back up around here. There are some pretty fast track in MN, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing compared to DH out west. We have more technical riding, where going fast down some of the hills, especially at the place I shot, Afton Alps, would be a pretty bad idea. It's still a lot of fun, if you can ride it right.

i'm from colorado and this looks pretty lame compared to winter park's trestle bike park (no offense). there's a possibility i could be moving to minnesota is there any bike parks out there for dh riders/freeriders? i can't seem to find any.
