I love all of these Mountain Climbing and Mountaineering Documentaries. However as much as i respect Everest, given the fact that most people want to climb Everest just on that reason alone i would pick another Mountain. It seems to be Overkill now. Is it seriously the bragging rights by climbing the highest mountain in the world. It has already been summited tons of times over. Why are people so fixated on this mountain, why not try The Eiger, Annapurna, Nanga Parbat, K2. Why the big hard on for Everest ????

Is the Publish date of this current with the filming? If so Conrad's bit seems quite ironic given the climber v. Sherpa fight that would have been days maybe a month earlier.

Hi
-
cool topic but terrible speakers.
-
First speaker is a complete dick. Total lack of respect for the dead he was walking over.
-
Nice nepal
-
i play your game animal jam tell ajhq to friend me my name is aidengamertv

Ask the dead their side of the story not the paid people who have every reason not to put any blame on themselves....lawyer here. Its a money making business now - and serious money. NG is a huge money making media corporation. Get real. Go see it's campus in Washington, D.C. - bigger than most capitals. National Geographic cashes in on all of this.
-
would it be possible to wingsuit off everest? Like in an example of total "I give up and cant be fucked to walk any further or walk all the way down" SWOOPS AWAY
-
They should just build a ski lift to the summit.
-
We now know that INFACT Ladies and Gentlemen an iPhone does work at 28,000 ft.
-
Glad the sherpas have refused to work with westeners since the avalanche of 2014,killing 14 of them, serve's you right ,money cant buy everything, when the mountain fights back!!
-
i would love to clime mt everest
-
Excellent job. Educational, thought provoking, intense, and last but not least, enjoyable.
-
Might as well build a road, half the equipment is already there. Bring a few more ladders and O2 bottles to make the guard rails.
-
No taxi is going to driving to the samit
-
There might be other routes but you still won't summit if there's 40 people on the summit. 08:05
-
WOW!! my country NEPAL
-
I have been trying to find out if anyone has ever done a poop at the summit of mt everest. Since the other records are taken this would be my goal. To be the person on Earth who has done a poop at the highest altitude. Has anyone ever pooped on the summit of Everest?

Mount Everest is for wannabe rich mountain climbers who I guarantee 90% of them would die on K2 or Annapurna. Everest is 29,029 feet while K2 is 28,251 feet only 778 feet shorter and WAY more dangerous. If you watch any documentary on mountaineering the best climbers in the world who have done all 14 8000 meter peaks will tell you that K2 and Annapurna are on a different level then Everest and require a lot more experience and skill.
