This was my first visit to the "Mach Loop" Whilst on holiday in north Wales in 2009. It was awesome, I was very lucky, on my first day there were over 30 passes, and on my second day loads of Typhoons and a F-15. The photographers up there were a very friendly people, and I would like to thank all of them, for the tips and advice they gave me about the Mach Loop. Cad West was definitely my favorite site on the loop.

That valley is about an hour's drive from where I live - and very beautiful to drive down!
Is there a way of finding out when the air force will be exercising there? -

I live close to Luke AFB in Arizona. They let me know to open the front door and the back patio door of my house so they can fly through.

What is gratingly annoying is how these flights all look the boring same. One shot after another, close up. Nothing interesting. PULL BACK so you can see the height they are flying and MOST IMPORTANT ZOOM IN WHEN ITS FLOWN PAST!!! That is what your zoom is for. Keep the camera ON the aircraft so you can see how they tackle the next valley. This is an exercise, we don't want to read the bloody letters on the pilots lapels. DUH!!!

I fly my Daddy's Jet all the time. I need to sit on his lap but I fly it. My daddy says I'm a great pilot and I believe him!
