Part of our epic europe motorcycle roadtrip in summer of 2015. Kinda forgot how much I love Switzerland! Why it needed me to tour the country on a motorcycle to remind me...who knows. We were in the Swiss Alps on our motorbikes for no more than 10 hours but all the nostalgia of my childhood summers there came flooding back. From swimming in the fresh fast flowing Rhine to sliding down lush green Alpine slopes on paper bags. My original aim was to ride the Grimsel, Furka and Susten passes but only managed the first two...you know Finn Standard Time gets in the way of leaving at silly o'clock in the morning. Andi kindly played our Swiss ambassador when we arrived at the Ace Cafe in Lucerne, then took us on a night ride up to Zurich. Can't wait to go back next year for a proper Swiss motorbike trip. The Superduke was perfect on those tight twisty hairpins, powering out of corners with all that v-twin torque. She felt completely at home on those beautiful alpine mountain roads! Nearly ran out of fuel coming down the Furka pass but that all adds to the adventure. Filmed on a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition & Panasonic Lumix G6.
