Skiing in the Swiss Alps (Flims) - Black Run

From this I learned that it's impossible to capture the beauty of the mountains with a camera. It just doesn't work, you have to be there yourself. Also, the hill is much steeper than it looks and I was going much faster than it looks. Strange how harmless everything becomes when captured on video. :/

Yes you need to be there to "feel" the mountains.
There's a lot ice there if this is the Swiss Alps. This looks more like a blue (intermediate) or green (easy) run IMHO.. -
I know what your talking about. you can feel a 50 cal machine gun in your chest. It's just not the same in a video. watching this makes me want to ski. I need to plan a trip to Utah.

Yeah, there is a certain sense of "sweet bejeebus I am standing above the cloud layer" that gets lost in translation. :P
