A classic Chamonix ski tour is the Col de Brerard known also as the Keyhole. An epic 4-6 hour tour up from Chamoinx at the Flegere ski area that finishes in the community of Le Buet near Vallorcine at the Swiss- French border. There is always the possibility of deadly falls or massive avalanches so going with a guide and having touring experience is highly recommended.
