The resort has arguably the most stunning views in the Portes du Soleil. Up top the Mont Blanc chain stands proud alongside many 4000 metres peaks in the Valais, but so too does Lake Geneva, which appears tantalisingly close. Imagine skiing with the lake's blue hues below only to turn a corner and be confronted by a full-on view of Europe's highest mountain... it's only possible in Torgon.
