I love how that dumbass girl acts like because they made stupid decisions it's others responsibility to come save them

The coast guard is also stationed in portland

Damn people are ignorant. How can they think it's fine to go and climb a mountain that has been assessed as dangerous when you have never climbed on easier terrain? If you make that decision knowing the risk then fine, it's your life, but no one else should be put at risk because of you.

Fucking journalists, they're disgusting vultures. I have a personal reason for hating these fuckers and stuff like this just reenforce that. Have some respect and if you can't help, fuck off. Sorry I don't usually swear like that but it makes me sick to my stomach. By all means report but don't get into anyone's faces or in the way. Fucking bastards.

God damn this is overly dramatic. They're making hood sound like a nightmare to climb. Hell most people don't even rope up on hood
-
Never experienced this before...OMG then you understand why people get killed on the mountains.
-
oh my word I remember watching this...you can hike that mountain in shorts and tennis shoes. That climb they did is dangerous, very.
-
if I saw that many people falling attached the rope I would take my knife and cut it
-
As an experienced mountaineer i must say Jeff the mountainguide made some realy unprofessional choices
-
the hiking Guide seems like a weirdo he is smiling while telling the story of people dying seems like a nut job
-
When you hear the words " We have never climbed on snow or ice before". 😂😂😂😂😂
-
Pathetic crap. Would not pay this Jeff person to take my granny across the street...
-
Why would someone, who has no expertise in climbing, attempt these mountains?? It's got to be obvious they're endangering the lives of others!! You want to impress your new boyfriend? - do something within the realm of reality, that does not play games with others' lives!! Ridiculous
-
I was thinking, it doesnt matter with your f...... Jeremiah, what about all the others?
-
"Gaping crevasse" is enough to keep me away!
-
why not climb a different mountain?

I think they should have had better ropes attached to each other or rather better buckles. If the first few people after doing the safety fall they were trained to to didn't work (or rather if to many people are falling to make it even work), I would want a quick release on the buckle so if any of that happens, I can just punch a button releasing me from everyone else to save myself or everyone else I'm attached to from me getting hit and dragging them down with me.
British Paratroopers in WW2 had that release for their parachutes (they had to turn something first before punching the button releasing them from their chutes first tho).
Also, I would add that no more than 1 group should be going up or down that part of the mountain at a time. -
So you decide to climb on a mountain, OK? You say you know it can be dangerous, OK? And even after that you find other people to accuse when the "exciting adventure" did not end up so happily. What is it wrong with you?
