Thank you for spending the time on doing this. It's tremendously helpful! Would recommend working on the audio a bit because you can here the slightest lip smack every time you speak. Just a slight adjustment to recording. Thumbs up my friend THANK YOU!

fred constt is not swiss anymore, it's been taken over by jap friends

So which are the big three?
I got
1. Patek Philippe
2. Vacheron Constantin
3. ???? -
TAG Heuer is German, not French. German Heuer means "this year" in English (among other things), the French heure with a totally different pronounciation means "hour" in English.

Firstly , too much time is spent on the intoduction part. Next the voice is not crystal clear because, it seems, the bass in the speaker may be too high. Otherwise this is very good because we have learnt how to spell correctly swiss brands. Thanks a lot.

LON-JINES!

Thanks, friend. I'm going watch shopping overseas soon and don't want to sound like an idiot. "You got one of them Jaegermeister Coolio watches?"
-
Well, I own one Frederique Constant! It's reliable and amazing;)
-
Your voice is amazingly mesmerizing👑.
-
you wont be able to pronounce Jaeger-LeCoultre without the help of phlegm.

Outstanding work!

I need to play this on repeat. :)

To my Chicago born & bred pronunciations, French people sound like they constantly need to blow their nose. Spanish & Italian sound fine to me, but the French need to blow their sinuses out. Plus they all sound stuck-up, pompous, & totally unfriendly.
Just my Chi-town opinion. -
As a native French speaker, I applaud your honourable effort. Very sound pronunciation, sir!

I think Jaeger-LeCoultre is the most difficult to get right and here is how they pronounce it on their own YT channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIdMCY4sah8&feature=youtu.be&t=1m4s

Walk the streets of Cleveland using those French words will get you a Cleveland steamer

While not Swiss in origin, but rather Italian, it would have been fun to hear you include Officine Panerai in the list. Great vid! :-)

some of the German names are challenging how about Limes, Sinn, Lange, Sohne? That said, I work with lots of different countries and like TGV, I'm amused by mis-pronunciations. A bit like how Americans say Eye-Rack and Eye-Ran for Iraq and Iran

hi Ross,
being french, your pronociation is stunning, you're doing very well.
i found your channel very interesting for it's diversty and quality -
Interesting, informative video. Just thinking .. imagine the horror of being a newscaster in 2004, live on TV, being confronted with 'Phuket' or moi (sic) trying to order cumi-cumi with my wife in an Indonesian restaurant. (I know now that the naked 'c' is silent in bhasa!)
