So we spent a day hiking in the beautiful vistas of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I highly recommend you to do the same, but be prepared and pack for a longer trip than what you are expecting.. And take GOOD SHOES. Some of the peaks have a snow cover even in late spring and the sun makes the snowy slopes really slippery so be careful.
