Peter Mitterhofer Schreibmaschinenmuseum in Partschins, Southern Tyrol in Italy on the southern slopes of the Alps is named after one of the few gifted people who invented the typewriter or writing machine in German translation. 1866 Mitterhofer presented his machine to the Emperor of Austria accompanied by a summary what effects his beneficial machine would have on the productivity of any administration.
