National Anthem of Slovenia ‒ “Zdravljica” (English Subtitles)

Zdravljica en esloveno significa "un brindis", es un famoso poema de France Prešeren. Fue escrito en el año 1844 y ha sido el Himno Nacional de Eslovenia desde el 27 de septiembre de 1989. La más famosa es su séptima estrofa, para la que Stanko Premrl realizó una composición coral con el mismo nombre. El himno de Eslovenia se compone sólo de la séptima estrofa del Zdravljica. En cuanto a su forma el poema es un "Carmina figurata" ya que cada estrofa se asemeja a una copa de vino. 【▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬✮ENGLISH✮▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬­】 "Zdravljica" (English: "A Toast") is a carmen figuratum poem by a 19th-century Romantic Slovene poet France Prešeren, inspired by the ideals of Liberté, égalité, fraternité. It was written in 1844 and published with some changes in 1848. Four years after it was written, Slovenes living within Habsburg Empire interpreted the poem in spirit of the 1848 March Revolution as political promotion of the idea of a united Slovenia. In it, the poet also declares his belief in a free-thinking Slovene and Slavic political awareness. In the late 1980s, it was adopted as the national anthem of Slovenia. 【▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬✮DEUTSCH✮▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬­】 Zdravljica (deutsch: Trinkspruch bzw. Prost) ist ein Gedicht von France Prešeren. 1844 geschrieben und später von Stanko Premrl (1880--1965) vertont, bringt Prešeren in ihr das slowenische und slawische Bewusstsein zum Ausdruck und propagiert die Idee des Vereinten Sloweniens. Die Zdravljica spielte eine große Rolle bei der Bildung des slowenischen Nationalbewusstseins und in der nationalen und sozialen Befreiung. Die Zdravljica wurde am 27. September 1989 in feierlicher Sitzung vom damaligen slowenischen Parlament zur Nationalhymne bestimmt. Seit der Unabhängigkeit 1991 dient die siebte Strophe als Nationalhymne Sloweniens.
