this was not a "tour du mont blanc", we did different runs in the area (not only Mt Blanc massif), partly using chairlifts or hiking uphill. So it was only "day trips" - no need for a "big rucksack"
There is an actual trip around the Mont Blanc over several days which requires a lot more stuff to carry though
