Subscribe to my channel: http://goo.gl/y9hQsB Gimmelwald in particular has been on my map of "places I want to see" for years, it might seem like an od choice to put on such a list, but I have a love for small local villages where "real people" actually live. Walking around it was so peaceful, lots of birds, flowers and views.. what's not to like:) The hike up to Murren is very used.. I would probably recomend walking from Murren to Gimmelwald though. 1 it's easyer because it's downhill, but 2 you walk in direction of the view and can enjoy it more fully:) Murren is idyllic as well but more built up and minded on turist which also has it's charm.. there is actually a small supermarket unlike in the even smaller Gimmelwald.
