haha "air condition" on... nice video

does a 172 have an auto pilot?

Hi. Cool vid! I have a question though. At 1:49, why do you say ''climb at Vx'' instead of climb at Vy? Is Vx not used when you need to clear an obstacle? I am a private pilot so in no way am I pretending to know more than anyone, I just found it unusual to use Vx since I did not see trees, buildings or other obstacles. I mean, I see trees, but those were cleared pretty much right after takeoff. I could be wrong and maybe they're much taller trees than what one can appreciate in the vid.

das war erfreulich, danke

What mounts are those for your tablets? I like the design.

Fantastic, as usual. I thoroughly enjoy your videos!

Thank you, Guido......I soloed in 1978 in a C152 but never completed training. Still feel the excitement now riding with you.

Dear Guido; When flying in Europe, can you expect to speak English to ATC?
-
I think everyone likes your videos because you have so much confidence and make flying look effortless. I was stationed in Germany back in 1982-1984 and loved it. I would occasionally get to ride the medevac helicopters out of Landstuhl transporting to airbases or other military hospitals around Germany so that is my own experience flying in Europe.
I am just curious. Those iPad looking devices on the yoke, are they iPads or something else entirely?

Love your videos. I learn something from the every time even if I don't understand the language

Is that a FLARM in the panel the instructor was mentioning? Are there gliding ops run from/near the airfield.
Great videos as always Guido. -
Hi Guido, another lovely video, it made me smile when the aircraft ballooned on landing, welcome to 172's :)

Hello Capt.Warnecke. Also..du kannst ein bischen Deutsch..Sehr schone.
I have watched a lot of your vids. Finally the camera angle is low enough to see fwd thru the windscreen. Nice.
And then what's with those iPaDs?? What is that cradle with the ppt switch??? Where do we get those for our club? That was slick. Thanks for the sightseeing. Now lets go fly a Sovereign back home!!! -
I'm not a pilot but I find these videos positively fascinating.

Didn't understand a word but awesome video!

Thoroughly enjoyed this video. I spent 12yrs in Germany with the US Army. My 1st tour I was on the American Ski Patrol in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Garmisch was my 'home away from home many many times. Thanks for this 'special' post! It was nice to the Zugspitze and surrounding mountains again!
