http://www.walesmotorhomes.com/the-alps/motorhome-in-the-alps/ So welcome to the first installment of the video diary of our motorhome in The Alps, we've just got off the ferry, the van is all packed up and here is France. We've got the map and it is probably going to take us about 10 hours. We pretty much go down to Reims, down to Lyon and accross to Chamberey and then up to The Alps. This is the first time I have actually driven a motorhome out here and I have to say it really is pretty easy. We've got a Chasson Flash 04 which has got cruise control which is great and makes it easy to drive than a car. 6 hours later, there's no worries because if I do get tired, I can just pull over and sleep for a bit, we've done that before on the way down. The French are much better set up for this sort of thing than we are, you can just pull over and sleep, but we are going to truck on today and probably get there at about midnight. The following morning: Morning viewers, I thought I would just give you a quick glimpse of what the trailer park is like today. I've just had to dig myself out and currently we have had a foot and half of snow. Record snow for this year which is great for us, there's a bit of work in the morning to dig ourselves out, which is all part of the adventure.
