Hi I was given one of these pens but the rubber/steel one kind of a darkish gery colour with lines, was going to ask you if a converter can be used in this pen, because I did put a converter in mine and it works perfectly. Thanks

Thanks! I was using Montblanc ink cartridges in Royal Blue and yes, the nib is medium. Their midnight blue is in the next review I did of a 149 and it's more black than blue to me. The royal blue is a bright blue.

I have been to your website and read some of your reviews, which are very interesting. Shame you had such a bad experience with Cross Century, I have a vintage Century ii which writes beautifully. However, I don't think that pictures of the writing and description do as much to convey how a pen writes as seeing and hearing it actually writing. Just my opinion.
