Nestled within the studio is an orchestra of perfectly tuned machines, where the Montblanc Artisans carefully compose our limited editions. But most of the operation steps are carried out by hand – from the polishing of the surfaces, the applying of luscious diamonds and precious stones by highly qualified stone setters to the testing of the finished writing instrument. Only the nibs are still manufactured in the nib manufacture and all the necessary precious resin parts are made in the injection-moulding department.
