You forgot the obvious comparison -- the Akkerman ink chart behind you!

I always like your reviews. This time, I really want to know the name of blue ink that you used in the video.
Please let me know. -
With a smaller hand and the vintage design, this is definitely a pen with my name on it. The price is daunting, but I may pony up for the ebonite version as it's the most attractive MB design I've seen in some time. I hope to see one in person at an upcoming pen show and see what I think. Thanks, Stephen.

Gee, I love this pen. I have the noir model. Mine posts. The specific gravity is considerable but not untoward. Gotta admit I'm a herpes obsessive and the pen appeals to my slithery side (the underbelly of my id). You were more than fair in the review Steven, it is all you said. The medium nib is symmetrical, not stubbish. Do not stare too long at it.

You are insane ! And I love it !
-
The price of that pen is kinda absurd. Should be 250 Euros max.
-
Steven, I'm surprised you didn't mention the metal section. It seems discordant; doesn't match the other elements of the design and undermines the vintage look. Why would they do that? Certainly at this price point they didn't have to save money. Strange.

Hello Stephen, brilliant content over the years and I still get enjoyment from your reviews. Would you be interested in reviewing a couple of new notebooks I've recently come across?

kinda funny, montblanc makes a pen for women and put two snakes on it, what's next? a fountain pen covered in live tarantulas? -
The more I look at this, the more I like it. Price is way more than I could ever pay, though.
-
That last minute...
-
So, was this part of the red and black collection or not , I'm confused 😂
-
You can use a toothbrush to clean 100% excess ink (after tissue). That way is very effective, easy, and cheap

good review!

Thanks for the video! I think the slimness of the pen was definitely intentional since this was a type of vintage tribute model, and older fountain pens of the era tended to be surprisingly slim (I think the 'maxi' sized preference in fountainpendom is a relatively recent phenomena).
Interesting to hear you mention that this pen might be a bit overpriced for what people get (as fine as it is), a sentiment that keeps on showing up in many of your more recent videos. Quite a few people have been feeling the same about more and more modern fountain pens I think.... -
The blue ink is gorgeous...
