I had 34 watches but been working on reducing it some - have got it down to 15 but its painful getting rid of them - its easy to get attached to them all.

I like your work. To sus it up a bit, eliminate the face touches (nose&ears) and adjust the temples on your glasses so you don't have to push 'em up so often. Cheers.

So I'm not a high-end watch collector or a watch geek but I'd love an answer to this:
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual line has SO many different sub-models which have quite a few overlaps. How is THAT not confusing? Simply because we're just so used to Rolex now?

Yes audio is low. Also can you please use a bleep sound instead of just cutting the audio when you swear? It sounds like an audio error or like the video is loading. You could use literally any sound maybe something watch related?

Great video, except for the gnats! I agree completely, and I find many other brands fall in the same trap. They are building a new identity, so hopefully they'll become aware sooner than later.

Montblanc always felt cheap to me, and I couldn't figure out why I feel that way until you pointed it out. You've hit the nail on the head here.

Montblanc are shitters! ....they make pens!!! No horological pedigree worth a glance! Why would I pay 5K USD for something when I can buy a Tudor Black bay/Palagos etc with real heritage. Overpriced crap for wannabes who can't afford JLC's.

Great video! Agree with everything you said. I thought maybe you should have touched on the subject of Jerome Lambert and the clear connection they now have with JLC. The new stuff contrasts greatly with what they were doing before. It's no coincidence that we now have a Montblanc "Master Control" style watch with the Heritage Chronometrie Automatic.

I think you make some very interesting points. I can't help but ponder if the large collection is something being forced by Richemont. Seems like something a corporate market analyst group might do. They might be trying to see what their market share will gravitate towards. Then streamline their collection. Only then maybe they might try to grow their market. I think MB choice to go upmarket is risky and very costly. I could see them trying to figure things out now before they have more to lose. This is only speculation.
