Omg, this is one of the most amazing pen I ever seen ... crazy prices on ebay :( I would love to have the fountain pen :(
What's your personal experience with MB Legrand RB refills? Many people on the net claim they dry out very quickly, become quite scratchy after a while and last for just a few pages.
FINALLY SOMEBODY WHO UNDERSTANDS COLLECTING. BY THE WAY, MONTBLANC HAS DECREASED THE NUMBERS FOR THE ROLLERBALLS ON THE WRITER'S LIMITED EDITION SIDE. LOOK AT PAST EDITIONS AND WATCH HOW THEY ARE LIMITING THE NUMBERS FOR BOTH THE ROLLERBALL AND THE BALLPOINT. IN SHORT, THESE WRITING INSTRUMENTS WILL BE COVETED BY MANY WHO WILL OUTSIDE CRYING THE BLUES.

I LOVE HOW YOU PRESENT THE CONS OF THE ROLLERBALL. THE COLLODI WAS ANOTHER PEN YOU WOULD BE CLEANING ALL THE TIME. WRITE WHEN TIME PERMITS.
Rollerball and ballpoints are different. The Legrand refill cartridges are lasting only 1 month under heavy daily use. The refills run about 10 bucks.
you mentioned that you "stick broad ballpoints in", so the ballpoint and rollerball refills are interchangeable in these pens?
