Montblanc 146 Carbon Fiber / Steel Review

On Fountain Pen Day, I've decided to do my very first fountain pen review - a Montblanc 146 Le Grand, with a Medium nib, in Carbon Fiber and Stainless Steel. I've had the pen since 2003. Enjoy!

I have a true mont blanc 146 for sale l...I got it from an estate sale and I don't collect pens...where is the best place to take it?

Thanks for your review! I loved the comment: "my handwriting is awful, as you can tell, but it's mine and I'm quite attached to it." I'd say "welcome to the club" except that would imply that yours is as bad as mine -- it isn't! I am recently returning to Fountain Pens after many years/decades of abusing it with ball points, mechanical pencils and lots of note taking. I know the FP won't automatically improve my penmanship, but I have found that I take more time, form the letters more carefully and, surprisingly, truly enjoy the process of putting nib to paper!
Btw: I found your video because of a comment and link you placed on SBRE Brown's rather inspirational "Why Aren't You Doing Reviews" video nearly a year ago. I am truly amazed at the growing interest (even "fandom") in fountain pens, ink, paper --- and the reviews of such. I hope you continue! -
Thanks for the review,a classic pen by any measure and an emotional attachment for over 10 years no doubt, as yet, no one has ever bought me a MontBlanc, one day eh :)

Looks good! I like your background :-). It's very nice that you can indicate that you still like the pen as much as you did when you got it.
