The French side of the tunnel is much nicer. The tunnel is not cheap, but using it saves a lot of time if you want to be swimming in the Mediterranean sea and standing next to Mont Blanc in the same day. It is also worth mentioning that the tunnel is not scary or complicated to drive through - for that, you should visit the Switzerland. (2013)
