Mont Blanc Traverse. Departing Aguile Des Midi at 9.00 am. 5 hours 30 mins to summit. Lost water bottle on the way up so incredibly dehydrated by the time we summited. Tacul - tough. Mont Maudit - very tough Mont Blanc summit - required full mental commitment. View from the top - spectacular. Gideon Carr Justin Rowlatt 3 hour descent to the cosmiques hut where we spent the night. Supurb adventure - We did it!!!

Congratulations! .. ...but where you learning to walk on crampons and glacier travel right BEFORE the climb? If so, sorry I don't approve.

Great effort guys and a nice post. For the record though, Mont Blanc is the highest point in Western Europe. Mount Elbrus is the highest point in Europe. Respect though guys, great climb. Looks like you were lucky with the weather.
