Mont Blanc Sept 2012 - Tete Rousse to Summit 4810m
Mountain | reviews | videos | photos
This short film documents our 2nd and happily successful summit attempt of Mont Blanc (4810m) in September 2012. We spent 3 days on the mountain starting from the Bellevue lift station in Les Houches. We took the French Ordinary Route starting and finishing from Tete Rousse via the Dome Du Gouter. The film was shot with a Sony Handicam and edited using Final Cut Pro X

Well done ladies, looks like you had a great summit day. Good on you. :)

September was a great month to summit - we tried in July 2011 and couldn't even get on the mountain. Our guide was an ex-marine and was in no mood for rest stops! I would have liked to have taken a bit longer but all-in-all a 12 hour day was quite long enough.
