In this video I take a look at a very cool, limited edition Mont Blanc Safety pen. Take a look at the vintage safety pen I restored and reviewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=697FvP82Lxo twitter: @bulletproofpens Blog: bulletproofpens.wordpress.com snapchat: jeffkevlar

Fantastic engineering and a really super nice pen. I know red inks tend to be quite saturated but as to whether that would make them drier I'm not sure its is possible but it would depend on the ink I guess. Thanks Jeffry

This pen has been on my wishlist for a while now. Thanks for the review!

Great looking pen and a vintage design that I'm glad to see in production. The broad nib looks a bit "stubby" in the writing sample which I always find appealing. At a similar price, the MB LE "Rouge et Noir" in black is the model I'm drooling over. Thanks for another interesting and informative review, Jeffry.

A good piece of engineering, I agree. Those hard starts could just be ink dams in the feed channel. My Boheme does that if it sits a few weeks. The nib and feed look similar so it's possible. My 1912 doesn't do that so there may be other forces at work.

Thank you, Jeffry. One of the few Mont Blancs I am interested in.

A safety pen that won't dump out ink when accidentally turned over. It's too bad they are so expensive ($800+ in the US). It looks like a great pen.
