This summer microdrones' md4-1000 achieved something no other quadcopter had previously done. The unmanned aerial system, which was equipped with the latest GPS technology from u-blox and an HD camera from Sony, conquered the Alps by crossing the Saint-Gotthard Pass connecting Switzerland and Italy. The md4-1000 ascended and descended along a pre-programmed path over the mountain range while encountering strong winds and avoiding web-like power cables. Ganz schön aufwendig für so ein kleines Drohnending. Da müssen ja ordentlich Geldgeber im Hintergrund stehen, wenn die diese Party finanzieren.

Wie wär's mal mit lesen? :-) Der Copter ist selbständig geflogen, der Pfad wurde vorher einprogrammiert. Auf Grund des GPS usw. wurden also Abweichungen durch Winde usw. ausgeglichen, und das Ding hat eine Punktlandung hingelegt. Nach über 12 km. Die Funk-Jungs waren mit ihren Steuerungen nur in der Nähe, falls was schief gegangen wäre. Na dann mach das mal eben nach, mit deinen "genung LiPos"... ;-)

Was war daran so schwer ? genug LiPo Cap vorausgesetzt sollte das jeder bissle größerer Quad können wenn man alles aus dem Auto steuern kann. Dazu noch ein 2-3 Achs-Gimbal System für die Kamera und die Aufnahmen wären nicht so zittrig gewesen.. ;-)
