MALA MOJSTROVKA 2332 m - climbing "Hanzova pot" from VRŠIČ - Julian Alps

I assume you have a GPS. Put address VRSISKA CESTA 90 and you will find the starting point. There is a mountain hut ERJAVČEVA KOČA, where you can also sleep, eat, drink and park for free. From this parking go to the road and cross it and start walking uphill. You will see footpath, but it is not marked. Do not worry. After 10-15 minutes you will come to the marked path coming from the VRSIC PASS. Continue walking towards MOJSTROVKA and you will come to the place, where you will need to climg allmost straight uphill. You will find there iron wedges and steel rope to help you climb. This part is not for you, if you are affraid of high. If you loose your grip, you might fall down few 100 meters. I needed 2 hours from the starting point to the peak MALA MOJSTROVKA. For descent I used the other, safer path, going SE. Last half of descent you will come to the scree which was the most enjoyable part of this hiking. Use it, it is not dangerous. I needed 55 minutes to come from the peak to the VRSIC PASS and then another 15 minutes from the pass to the starting point. There is no mountain huts or water on this hiking, therefore take enough water with you. In the hot summer day you will need at least 1.5 litre of water.
