It's Beautiful in Japan.

Very beautiful. Thank you. I love pine and spruce trees. I felt clearly better in Japan every time I went to an area with those kinds of trees. I'm from Finland and this might explain why I like those trees as we have got plenty of them around here. On the first time when I experienced such a feeling in Japan, I was surprised as I didn't expect to have such a strong reaction.

Are you an F1 fan? This next weekend is the F1 grand prix in Suzuka! Do you live near this area?

So beautiful

Hey, what is the "Tsuki no Sato Obasute" building right in front of where you were filming? Is it an onsen or other type of resort?
Interesting videos as always. I wouldn't even want to put a kite into that weather pattern... -
Beautiful Japan

I went hiking quite often during my stay in Japan this summer. I am always awed by the beauty of Japan. I also found (took a picture) of a love letter on a mountain side. I wonder if it's a famous or historical item.

Your voice sounds somewhat sick. :/ Is it something big or just a cold? Get well soon!

Not from a pilots point of view, but from a driver. Driving among the clouds is awesome. Little clouds like in this video here. Giant cloud formation like the famous cloud picture that is encompassing Mt. Fuji are sucky if you yourself are on the mountain, but smaller ones can lead to a great experience. Just driving through one and then suddenly have the most stunning vista before you is one of my favorite memories from the alps in Switzerland.
I used to go there every few years. Haven't been in some time because a 6 hour drive is getting longer and longer as I age. 15 years ago I averaged 145 kmh from my house to the Swiss border. Now there are limits everywhere and the roads are fuller.
Having a view is really a gamble. Best thing about the alps in Switzerland is that they tunneled through every mountain. So if you drive over the mountain road, you will be almost alone. And if you really want to be alone, take the older roads (if they are not barricaded due to conditions) There are some really old roads left, still with cobblestones high up in the alps. Quite brilliant.
