Intel Stock heatsink vs Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2
Mountain | reviews | videos | photos
I replace my Intel stock cooler with the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 and observe temperature changes with identical tests. I also apply Arctic Silver 5 Thermal paste, which may or may not have affected temperatures. (This video was supposed to be a test to see if changing thermal paste with the stock cooler would change temperatures at all, but a pin of the Intel stock cooler broke and I needed to buy a new heatsink, and so I went with the Arctic Freezer :p)

you may want to re-apply your thermalpaste man, not saying your temps are bad but you can get them way lower then that i have a fx 4130 oced to 4.3 ghz and that things max temp is 53-57 c with this cooler, keep in mind my chip is probably pushing a good 140 or so watts

Will this heatsink fit in my Optiplex 755 usff on the socket 775 core 2 duo 3Ghz E8400 CPU? Does it come with bracket shown?

I just wanted to see someone removing an Intel stock cooler and see what CPU temps you usually get. Thank you <3

What is insides the copper pipes in the heat exchanger. A special gas, I guess non flammable 1. I wonder if u could plumb it to run as a water cooled with a pump and all. :) nice video .

so the stock cooler is good enough?

lol man u mounted the cooler wrong u should first build it up outside put the screws on and then apply thermal paste and put the cooler in the place and push the pins down just like the original cooler

Hmm different to mine. I had 50-60C when it was idle with stock cooler. But I replaced the fan and paste and my idle has pretty much gone down to 30-35C
-
bad video, not enough thermal paste, and you can leave the old one (no dust could have come in between) and we don't see the fan
