Ink Review: MontBlanc Oyster Grey Ink
Mountain | reviews | videos | photos
Here I review an ink by MontBlanc, by the title of "Oyster Grey" (a very unique type of gray). Here-in may be found my own thoughts and opinions on the matter, as well as some test results I have for (among other factors) water-resistance on Clairefontaine, Rhodia, Copier Paper, Mead Notebook Paper, Tomoe River Paper, and Moleskine papers, and using both a A.G. Spalding & Bros. pen with Medium nib, as well as a JinHao X450 with a fairly-wet-fairly-Broad nib as pens for these tests/experiments.

Grey = Pink + Brown

You just get given lots of ink? From some kind of... penifactor? I need to figure out how to make that happen for myself. You should check out some pelikan inks, btw. The edelshtein ones are pricey, but the 4001 series is a really good value. I particularly like their "brilliant brown" and turquoise.

I recommend the 90th Anniversary Permanent Grey

I really love this ink in a nice wet pen in fact i recently brought a whole bottle after trying several samples , I have not come across the discolouring pens aspect so ill watch out for that. I love Lexington also though I am a bit of a sucker for Greys and Blues .
Nice review thanks very much
