In this video I demonstrate how to easily clean and flush a fountain pen feed and nib section. You can find a selection of fountain pens on my website: http://www.scribesmasterpiece.com

I like your pen. Wondering what brand fountain pen is that?
-
thank you for making this!

I always wondered what the syringe type tool that came with my beginners set was for, then I saw your syringe tool. Thank you for posting this, my pen now works like brand new, after using the plunger.

Very helpful. Thanks for posting this!

nice video, would like to point out that you are demonstrating a cartridge pen, not a fountain pen. A fountain pen is filled directly from an ink well....just sayin' :-)

no offense, but the "secret weapon" can be replaced with a plunger cartridge. actually would work better because you can fill the nib with the water through the entire pen from the tip of the nib to the cartridge, so it's more thorough . Plus it's refillable and comes with most fountain pens.

Question. If you are finished with using your pen but there's still some ink left in the cartridge, do you leave the cartridge in the pen? Or take it out?

Very nice! Thank you for sharing this video. Informative! Now I have an Idea in how to preserve and use again my fountain pen.

Ingenious!

Can I use this method with my Parker Reflex aswell ?

I find that a run under a warm tap and then a good hard blow into the grip section through the nib does an effective job in half the time! it works for my Montblancs. My little Meisterstuck has never complained!

Great tip, Great tune. Thank you.

That is such a good idea

Great video. I really love the syringe/cartridge trick too. Thanks ! Oh and the music is awesome. It sounded like vinyl with a Van den Hul pickup going through a CAT SLI.

Thanks!

Very nice, thank you.

It shouldn't rust if it's stainless steel.
