Hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc | July 2015

July 2015 We completed the Tour du Mont Blanc in 9 days, starting from Les Houches and taking almost every variante route possible, notably going off the TMB routes to visit Rifuge Robert Blanc (2750m). We carried all our own gear, camped and cooked for ourselves. I would highly recommend camping to anyone who feels up to the challenge; no need to book refuges and very cheap. We hiked the TMB in aid of the 3H Fund, a small charity based in Kent which organises holidays for physically disabled people, giving them a great time and offering their carers some much-needed respite, having won a small travel scholarship award from Oundle School.
