best advice ever, spent 20 min rolling that bag and it still didint fit, stuffing the bag took me a minute and it saved me some space.

Been packing my sleeping bags this way for over 30 years. If you continue to fold and roll the sleeping bag, the filling starts to tear away and separate along the fold line compromising the insulation of the bag. If storing the sleeping bag for longer then a month, throw some Silica Gel Desiccant Moisture Absorber sachets (2 or 3) in when you pack your bag along with a half cake of your favorite soap. This will prevent mold and keep it smelling clean.

does this technique work with synthetic fill bags?

Just got my Mountain Equipment Helium 800 bag about an hour before trying to fold it half the long way, rolling it & sticking it in the sack... just the way he said IT WOULDN'T WORK!! Lol. Now I know stuffin' it is the way to go. Thanks for the helpful vid! And awesome backyard with the surfboards and garden!
