What do you use now that the Exacompta blank sketchbooks are discontinued?

What a great presentation! You've raised such excellent points - makes me sad about all of my lost notes on cheap paper. That said, it's never too late to start again, and you've inspired me to order some nice notebooks. Thank you very much!

ghosting on my tomoe river paper in my Midori notebook insert is not hindering me to use both sides of the leaf. You can not expect thin paper to be opaque even with high grade paper quality. And I use Pilot fine nib fountain pens on Leuchtturm notebook paper without serious issues of bleed through.

Your reviews are really helpful. Thank you sir.

Your videos have been very helpful, I'm new in the world of fountains pens and notebooks that are fountain pen friendly. Hope you contained putting videos on here.

The Apica notebook is a A5 ? What's the name of the notebook you use, where did you get yours.

I bought a Leuchtturm Master and it turned out to be a complete disappointment. It bleeds. Why didn't I watch this review before? I spent 25 dollars over nothing. What should I do? I need a journal that has as many pages as possible and fairly big so it won't run out on me soon. Could you please advise me? Thank you so much. I live in NC and I can order it here in the US. Please give me some tips. Thank you very much. You are amazing and I respect all you have to say.

Fantastic review! As soneone new to fountain pens who is looking for a notebook to use at work, this was an invaluable lesson!

I can't believe fountain pens are a niche market. Imagine if everyone had one, it would save trash by the millions of lbs. I've been using a muji notebook myself, it takes a quick second to dry but i noticed i've slowed down quite a bit.

I HAVE A BIC FOUNTAIN PEN, IT WILL WRITE ON ANYTHING.

Do yo have any opinions on Apica notebooks, or have you tried them?

Thanks for the wealth of info in this video! You are the equivalent of a college professor and we are your students earning a degree in writing.

I didn't like Clairefontaine's clothbound. I don't know why, but my FP hates the paper.

Fantastic video. It's a pleasure to see like-minded people. You are absolutely right on the pleasures/benefits of keeping journals.

How are you pronouncing moleskines? I never heard that pronunciation before.

@8:36...."There is no regulatory body for fountain pen inks." Yes, there is. It's called "the market." Shitty inks that no one will buy will cease to exist eventually. Less expensive inks exist in the market place because not everyone is a fountain pen ink connoisseur or snob. Not ever car driver wants a Rolls Royce. Some people are perfectly happy to drive a Toyota for whatever reason. Try to give some thought to what you are about to say before you blurt it out in such a high and mighty fashion. So-called "regulatory bodies" are generally STATE funded operations that can only exist as a result of theft from others resources through coercion and force. Taxation is theft and this is the system from where "regulatory bodies" come from. Mises.org
