FOUNDATION BATTLE! Nars Sheer Glow vs Neutrogena Healthy Skin

***PLEASE READ!*** At times like these with the devastating events in Japan, it seems so trivial to focus on things like makeup. Many of us live far away from the disaster, but please think of the thousands of people whose lives will be affected for years to come. Those of us who live in comfort and safety cannot fathom what the Japanese people must be going through right now. If you could make even a small donation, or a generous one, to the Japanese Red Cross Society, that would be a wonderful thing to do. Even if you just donate a small amount, what you would otherwise spend on an eyeshadow or a lipstick! I donated through the Google Crisis Response website to the Japanese Red Cross: http://www.google.com/crisisresponse/japanquake2011.html While it's all well and good to donate to your local chapter of the Red Cross, sending your donations to the Japanese Red Cross will have the most direct impact for tsunami relief efforts, as they are bearing the brunt of the disaster response. Neutrogena looks awesome.
-
I have used both and I love NARS but I did try the Neutrogena one and it was nice. I paid 46 for NARS and 15.99 for the Neutrogena.. She clearly already loves her NARS lol.. She really didn't give Neutrogena a chance it's a light coverage, natural finish if you will. I wear a good primer and the Neutrogena last good amount of time. Thery both are good !!!

Everyone can end up getting acne. My neighbor and his kid each had cystic and severe acne. The two managed to heal themselves as soon as they found the Acne Executioner (Google it). A lot of people will not be as fortunate as them.

*neutrogena
-
The neutropenia one is not made for that much coverage. That's why you don't like it very much. The neutropenia one is basically made so that your skin can look healthy and not look like your wearing makeup.
-
The Neutrogena looks really pretty<3
-
I've been using neutrogena for 1 year and it doesn't bother me at all and it's great because it protects you with SPF 24 and also it can last very long
-
I think the healthy skin looks better than the nars
-
not many people can afford high in brand
-
50 bucks**
-
I have the neutrogena one and I love it. I would rather have to apply two coats and add a powder than pay 59 bucks for a similar foundation! It's just seems super stupid to me
-
The NARS looks so much better on you. I'm glad you chose that one over the other.
-
I tried both today as well, but I'd say the Neutrogena one gives a much more dewey finish than the NARS one, which at most gives a demi-matte finish. I have super dry skin, so the NARS one still can accentuate my flakes.
-
Those colors are waaaaay too dark for you
-
@WokOverEasy Haha that is a good question. I think it's so they can get a more even flush instead of a more blotchy one. Also if you have more "troubled" skin it's going to be hard to cover your face, missing your cheeks and still look good.
-
sometimes, the natural flush is too red, or they have very noticeable discoloration. but i agree with you, because i have naturally rosy cheeks, and i dont like it when a foundation covers it up too much(:
-
The neutrogena side looks more glowy and thats what im looking for since i need moisture in my skin :)
-
I wouldn't say it looked healthy. It looked oily. I think people just want to favor the drug store brand.
-
Because the redness usually appears in sort of weird shapes and for a lot of girls they just like how they apply blush more than the redness :)
-
because we dont want red cheeks and desire more of a pink or peach glow :]
