I work with the public. They'll steal your biro. So i'm not going to lend them a mont blanc. If I sold Ferraris or dealt in multi million pound deals I might use a real one. But I don't, so i'm not going to pay hundreds of pounds for what is basically a Bic.

If you work in sales, why would you want to consummate your deal with a fake pen? Kind of makes you seem shady from the beginning of the relationship.
