Please like and subscribe! https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=tyrereviews We take the Michelin CrossClimate from London to the Swiss Alps to try and find out whether there's any cold weather, snow or ice compromise with the Michelin CrossClimate. The Audi A3 is the front wheel drive only model (2wd). Had these fitted to A3 Quattro 4 weeks ago as yet just wet weather in uk ,no problems and are just as grippy as my summer Bridgestone tyres, hopefully will get benefit if poor weather hits that's what it's about making sure your prepared for adverse weather and these seem perfect for uk winters

I have this Michelin crossclimate on my Toyota GT86 and am very satisfied.

Tyre reviews, it would be nice of you if you could drive whole season on CC and 4S Gen2.
So we could see how these all seasons behave on their second year on snow. -
I've had the Michelin CrossClimate fitted on a Skoda Octavia Scout for a few months now and have been completely blown away by these tyres. Here in northern Finland we've had everything from completely frozen roads to 10cm of snow to dry roads and temperatures -20 c. So far I have not had any problems staying on the road.
When I bought the tyres in the fall I thought that I'd change to normal studded winter tyres when it got below freezing but the Michelins have worked so well that I'll drive them through winter. The only thing I've found that needs to be taken into account when driving is that in icy conditions the sideways grip isn't that good compared to winter tyres. The side of the pattern in the Michelins is a lot rounder than in normal winter tyres. -
really??? I bet a summer tire will get you there with no problem

Keep up the god workshop, many thanks, very helpful

Why do the britains like to ride german cars ? Cause they aren't abble to build cars themselves !So... why not to buy french cars !!! Which are so more comfortable and performing !

0:20 All-season tires are NOT excellent on snow and ice...

Для Украины это шины нормально?

Compare this vs Nokian WRG3.

Also really good video!

I have four of these on a Mini Cooper and they're amazing. Taken them down to -10 so far. Rain performance is also incredible. Are you sure you can't refer to them as winter tyres they have m/s markings and snowflake.

200 days of dry weather in the UK??? 200 hours more like!
-
Put 4 of these on my Golf 4 weeks ago. Temperatures dropped to -6C last week and definitely noticed a difference.

Fit these to a subaru forester. Apart from your land rovers (so long as they dont have silly standard summer tyres) will beat anything, in any conditions.
-
I've had my BMW 1 series shod in these for the last couple of weeks and they've been excellent. The weather hasn't proved too bad as yet but I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform in snowy conditions.

Hi, thanks for the review guys but did you really drive 700 miles to the Swiss Alps just to drive up one hill? :-)
I think a RWD comparison test (i.e. - with and without CC tyres) would be a true test of these tyres. All the reviews I've seen seem to be FWD vehicles which have better traction in snow anyway! -
Great video + SUBSCRIBED! More of these adventure / review videos please.

Just moved to a house on the side of a large hill with a lot of steep inclines on the way, I have mulled over getting some winter tyres for a couple of weeks, but as my summer tyres were getting close to needing replacement, I have opted for these, reading reviews and watching videos like this have given me a lot of confidence that I have made the right choice, looking forward to seeing how they perform over the winter. I have a FWD Honda Accord, so seeing this FWD Audi perform like this on a snowy incline is great - thanks for the vid!

Impressed - I am happy with slightly reduced new tread depth as this looks a great all-rounder - will it be good for my 1016 Passat Estate 2.0 TDI GT?
