Also, taking any pen apart may void your warranty, so make sure you really want to do this, before doing so! In this video, I show you how to remove the piston from a Montblanc Meisterstück 149 and a Pelikan M1000. You don't have to do this, but if you want to clean the pens really well, or add some clear silicone grease to the piston for lubrication, this can be useful.
