All things considered, I've been very lucky with the rain during this bicycle touring trip so far. Hello mate, how are you getting on with the gas stove? are the canisters easier to come-by on your route than bottles of meths? I only use a Trangia burner.

I feel your pain Dave haha , I've been in that situation so many times and you just have to knuckle down and get on with it don't you , I always carry a shit load of SIS bars with me just in case and for brecky too , those things can get you through days of no food shops
