A lot of people make basic mistakes with their attire during their adventures in the mountains when on a trek or a climb. The weather can be extremely erratic and may change many times in a day. Not only do you need the right mountain gear, but also do you need to wear them in the right fashion to keep yourself comfortable and warm. Here's a short video teaching you the basics of the multiple layering system of clothing in the mountains. Depending on how cold or hot it is, a multi layer system is the way to keep yourself warm and optimize the effectiveness and versatility of your limited clothing when outdoors. In the video, the mountain in the background is the 3rd highest mountain in the World - Khangchendzonga (8586m).This video was shot near Goecha La Pass(4940m) on the 'Khangchendzonga Ridge Trek' in Sikkim, Indian Himalaya. The person in the video is Mr. David Chambre, an avid rock climber and writer from France. He recently wrote a book called "The 9th Grade-150 years of Free Climbing" which charts the history of modern climbing.
