Climbing Ben Nevis - Scotland's Highest Point
Mountain | reviews | videos | photos
Starting near Fort William in the Scottish Highlands I climb the Tourist Path to the top of Ben Nevis which, at 4,409ft, is the tallest mountain in both Scotland and the British Isles, and the UK as a whole. I have a extremely clear day for climbing and am able to point out geological and historical features while on my trip.

How did it get so popular? How long did it take to get so many views?

Brilliant. Well done mate. Just done Snowdon and will be doing Ben Nevis in 2017. Your video was very inspirational. Cheers.

Great channel! Subscribed ;) Can't believe how cold it was at sea level for late September! Ironically in Scotland late September can still be quite mid teens temperature wise. But yea great videos and explorer. Well edited.

I'm going up to climb next week so have watched a lot of videos to try and brace myself for the task ahead and this is the best video by far that I have watched, thanks so much for posting it!

Good video! I'm planning on climbing Ben Nevis on winter. Any piece of advice? :) Thank you all!

Great video.:)

I have done it 3 times. 1st time only 15 and me and mate and decided to sleep on top overnight glorious clear sunny weather (no mishaps but wouldnt advise it) Now 65 and doubt if I would manage the climb.
I believe `ben nevis` means cloud kissed mountain, your chances of a clear sky and panoramic view are slim.
The record for an ascent and descent is under an hour, I think its an annual race. -
Brilliant video there Daniel. We aim to get up Ben Nevis at some point in the coming year, and hopefully we will have the weather you did too. I hope you dont mind if we share your video to a playlist on our channel of 'great hiking / climbing videos from other youtubers'.

I loved your video! me and 3 mates went up yesterday... bad rain an cloud set in so we had to stop. its a tough slog 😩

I've heard many say that often there is a thick fog and caution is needed (e.g taking a compass and a map). Though on the video the day you climbed was very clear, should this be an vital thing to consider?

Good Video Man :)

Good video. I walked up the Ben back in 2013. Unfortunately very cloudy on the summit.

Hi Daniel, Great vid as always. Was up there a few weeks ago, (Got it off my bucket list!!), and I couldn't believe there was still a good heavy blanket of snow at the summit !! Glad mind, as had run out of water, and used it in my water bottle, to re-hydrate... 23 degrees plus at ground level.. A magnificent part of the Scottish isles, a beautiful scenic view, and a very respected mountain to climb.... Keep up the vids.... ATB. Si.
