Our cameraman went to the mountains and watched some of the natives celebrate their Christmas. The Hunter and gamekeeper from Unterberg with two of his men are climbing the Alps. While the woodcutters are seen cutting a large tree, the hunter with his glasses watches some of the rare animals in the Alps, such as the Alpine goats, or Chamois. These very shy game animals can hardly ever be seen by tourists, they are high up in the mountains, and even the hunters can only watch them from a distance. Shots show an Alpine goat family, a chamois buck and doe, and young ones. When the jobs are finished the hunter and two woodcutters return to their little hut and celebrate Christmas.
